In the current social-political climate, many do not feel it is wise to draw attention to one’s firearms and permits. Facebook is a sure fire way to broadcast such information to the government.

Georgia?

Not New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, California or any other Blue State, Georgia for God’s sake?

The entire Country is infected by the Zombie Plague.

My prediction is that this principle and the people who answer the phones at his school are going to have very very very bad days tomorrow.

We are talking August, Georgia right? Plus the principal was stupid enough to mention being influenced by her having been in the US military. Yep, we are talking a very very bad day and then walking back his action.

Good for KS. I’ve always thought my right to protect myself should not end at any physical border. Crazy people are free to go wherever they want.

Richmond County Board of Education police

Just as the Founders envisioned - police forces EVERYWHERE.

When does a fracking Board of Education get its own police force?

The school administrators are insane. Seriously, certifiably insane. They should be removed from any position of authority or trust immediately.

Why do people put such stupid things on Facebook. That is the dumbest thing I have heard. I guess I need to break out the college transcripts from 1991 and post them on Facebook. What the heck are people thinking????? I have Facebook page but don’t put anything on the page that give any information about myself.

While you make good points, how does that excuse this idiot banning her from her child’s school? Why was the principal checking out this persons facebook page and why has no one called for the principal to under go a psych evaluation? Obviously this person has issues that make them incapable of administrating the education of children.

You have to watch what state you are in. I can’t do more than pick up my kid outside of school with a weapon and I’m a federal agent.

She needs to join her local American Legion or VFW and have them attend the next school board meting. Using her service in the Army as a way to block her access to the school is obvious grounds for a civil rights complaint to the Dept. of Education.

I don’t think it was the mothers service that scared the female principal, I think it was the weapons permit. Also she had to transfer her daughter to another school so that she could still drop her off and pick her up without being arrested for trespassing.
