On hallowe'en night, after we'd gotten all ther candy our bags could hold, we'd walk back home, me n'my brother, one on each side of the street.

When we saw a car coming, we'd both get out just enough to be sure the driver could see us ... he'd slow down a little, but we kept walking.

At just the right time, we faced each other and "pulled a rope" across the street.

What the driver saw was two individuals raising some sort of barrier ... and stopped.

We laughed our asses off ... it was all mime.

We did that one time as kids and the driver got out and chased us two blocks on foot.

The only thing that saved us was when we pulled that rope again and he stopped ... again.
