'Spooks fans rejoice the rumoured big-screen outing for the MI5 spies is happening, with a director and star on board, a filming schedule in place and some plot details having been released...
Peter Firth will reprise his role as MI5 chief, Harry Pearce, with production set to begin in early 2014. It's business as usual with original series director Bharat Nalluri set to take charge behind the camera for the feature penned by regular writers Jonathan Brackley and Sam Vincent.
Spooks: The Greater Good sounds as suspenseful as ever as terrorist Adam Qasim escapes from under MI5 noses during a handover to the head of counter-terrorism. Pearce takes the flack, but then mysteriously disappears one night off a bridge into the Thames, leaving his protégé, Will Crombie, to help uncover a conspiracy extending from Vietnam to the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, back home a devastating attack on London is imminent.
It's stressful stuff...'

Sweeeeeet! I miss MI5.
Well. That is pretty damned racist.
Another BBC made agitprop. Wonder if Israel will somehow be made into the enemy???
The chick on the right is hot. Who is she?
You actually watched it?.
I thought she looked familiar. I recognized her from Merlin.
I watched MI5 for awhile. Then I realized it was no Vince Flynn type spy thriller.
Unfortunately, with the exception of Peter Firth, everyone else in that picture was killed off.
