I like movies from the years the Hays code was in effect-circa 1933 to the mid to late 1960s. There were rules and regulations filmmakers had to follow and I generally don’t have to worry too much about the film’s content if which watch them with younger relatives or with friends and their children.
Me too ReformationFan!! I adore all classic movies. I know I can by a dvd or watch just about any of them on my compuer, but it just ain’t the same. Damn hollywood toady...and I don’t watch any of todays’s movies, but I’m an addict to the era you just mentioned.
I especially love Film Noir.
