The whole global climate thing simply doesn’t matter. Whatever it is, we’ll adapt. Some people will lose money and some will make money. But, here’s the big point; humanity has zero influence over the climate. The sun is 1.3 million times larger than the Earth. We’re all microscopic nematode sh*t in comparison.

The “Little Ice Age” refers to a period during the 1600s

While there is plenty of disagreement as to exact dates, no one thinks that the Little Ice Age was confined to the seventeenth century. Many would say that the years 1300 to 1850 were brackets for this climactic event.

Once the oncoming ice age becomes undeniable, can’t wait for the spin doctors to tell us why Obama’s executive orders on global warming were a good idea after all.

Seriously, these people will be pushing global warming until the Arctic ice sheet envelopes Harvard Yard.

Sunspots have been very active this month. Probably the highest they’ve been this max. I thought we had passed the max.

Just when human technology has advanced to the point where we could save earth from the deep freeze we were ruled by idiots.

Deja vu, all over again...Reminds me of when I was a Geology undergrad in the 70s. The big hype was the coming ice age, back before global warming got to be the ticket.

It's a 33 year cycle...

You folks in Texas don’t mind that a Minnesotan (conservative!) move down there till this “blows over,” do ya?

Answer- yes. And the global warming investment world would have had people directed to the warming and....voila made a killing in oil/carbon stocks— the works. Taking actions designed to prevent global warming in theory anyway would—accentuate cooling. Great job algore you pimp. And Golden Slacks.

“Let a thousand flowers bloom,” so we can cut their heads off. Nice predictable Marxism.

We might just as easily be heading into a major glaciation period. Historical records show we are due for it if past patterns hold. It won’t be fun if we are.

What??!!

Do you mean to tell me the author actually thinks that the sun is responsible for the temperature on earth? I mean, come on man - Sol is 93,000,000 miles away! How much can it possibly affect us?

Here we go with sun spots again. I say: If we just use the proper laundry detergent, those spots will go away when we wash the sun. There, problem solved.

My first American ancestor moved from Jersey (Europe) to Early America and started successful farming during the worst of that time.
