Oddly, a co-worker had a magazine with the first mention of the Dyatlov Pass Incident I’d ever seen, on the cover. And I was wondering about it, then saw more about it here. Avalanches don’t explain radioactivity and a missing tongue, and radioactivity doesn’t explain a missing tongue and crushed ribs either. Weird.
