We have to learn to keep an open mind and listen to everybody just in case there is one good sentence that’s a good idea that comes out of a paragraph of bad ideas. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
I will admit I can no longer listen to Karl Rove. I find it hard to put the above advice to work whenever Rove is on. I simply do not trust Rove.

Don't hold your breath. They didn't even put one cent into yesterday's special election in NJ. It is WE who must elect conservative leaders. We either do that now or form a third party.
Remove the current wusses who are in the leadership & replace them with fighters who actually believe in Conservative Constitutional principles.

When it comes to John Boehner, at the very least, he needs to be removed as Speaker.

I did not agree on the premise that we shut down the government though. Obama and Reid shut it down.

That’s why this shutdown was so stupid. Did anyone really think the media wasn’t going to side with Obama? Not to mention the public doesn’t like shutdowns. It was clear as glass we were going to get creamed.... many normally astute posters on this board got carried away and stepped right into a left / right combo of Obama and Valerie.
You are spot on. The MSM is public enemy #1.
What Republicans should do is:
1. Disown McCain, Peter King, any other big-mouths, announce they’ve been kicked out of the party for their treachery. They’re Dems anyway, no big loss.
2. Be willing to give up your office, they can’t hurt you if they don’t have anything on you. Then announce to the media that you don’t care what slander the Obama-MSM hurls at you, you’re going to fight for America.
3. Start calling Obama and Dems out on who they really are. Don’t be afraid to call them names like they call us. Make it a public fight and kick their butts.
4. Get rid of Morris et al who keep screwing up the message. Fire them all publicly.
That should fix it.
I know we are disappointed how the votes turned out...but everything isn’t always won on the first battle.....This shutdown flushed the RINO’s out into the open because of their votes and the terrible things they said about the TeaParty...there is no hiding for them anymore...they cant tell the folks back home how they voted against Obamacare etc..etc...that dog won’t hunt anymore...the votes and the things they said on the floor and on tv will be pounding them for the next year...candidates will rise up that maybe wouldn’t have against the Secret RINO’s the race will be easier now thanks to their own admissions and actions...we can take the Republican Party back ...the DEMO’s kicked the conservative Demo’s out they now have control with liberals we can do the same with our party ...
Or do the exact opposite of whatever he suggests.
