We will never “recover” — ever. As long as the corrupt MSM continue to work exclusively for Democrats and blame Republicans by a margin of 41 to 0 we will never “recover”.

The corruption is now complete. Obama was advised not to negotiate. He didn’t, and he did not have to because the corrupt MSM completely covered him. All Obama had to do was lock the barn door, start the fire, and wait it out.

And that’s all he did. And that’s exactly what happened.

We are fooling ourselves if we continue to think that we will ever win with the current level of corruption. We need to stop balming our message, our efforts, our intents, our skill, our money, our commitment, etc. As long as the MSM is thoroughly corrupted and have their collective hand on the scale we move with futility.

Unless and until we address the corrupt MSM, and correct this, we need to stop claiming we only need to do “this”, or “that” to succeed. You cannot succeed when the house has completely rigged the game.

There will be no recovery as long as the GOPe is in charge.

Any road to recovery requires all RINOs in leadership positions be retired, and those wishing to remain follow the conservatives' lead.

A first step in recovery is to ignore Dick Morris.

What The Republicans Must Do To Recover

The GOP needs to recover but not the Tea Party... Did the Tea Party win? Well technically it did not achieve its objective. But in the Art of War, even in defeat find victory. Only history will tell us what the victory was, but from what is shaping up the TEA Party is more resolved for primary fights. There is going to be serious GOP Senate primaries in Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and South Carolina.

In my area in Missouri, GOP State House members that did not overturn the Gov's veto for tax relief (GOP has super majorities) are all facing primaries challenges.

The RINO party is finished. We are a one party system in Amerika now. Socialist. That is what we have become. Dim-Socialist and RINO-Socialist. No real difference.

Purge all RINOs and traitors, starting with McConnell.

They need to be primaried, including McCain (whenever he's up for re-election).

I have been one who has repeatedly said "Boehner needs to go". I would still support the Tea Party candidate running against Boehner but since the shutdown debacle I've changed my priorities a bit.

First of all, I still think John Boehner needs to step down as Speaker AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Until this happens, the Tea Party / Conservatives are swimming in the pool of defeat. The first step of turning this defeat into a Tea Party victory is replacing John Boehner as Speaker ASAP. Until then, we wear the black eye.

Secondly, when it comes to elections (mainly the 2014 campaign) the RINOs in the US Senate need to be primaried. This has become much more important than removing John Boehner from the House.

Yes, John Boehner is weak and because of that he needs to be replaced as Speaker ASAP. But weak to who, the democrats? No, not just to the democrats but the GOPe in the US Senate, those who attacked Ted Cruz. John McCain, Graham and McConnell need to be thrown out of office even faster than John Boehner needs to be thrown out.

Right now, first things first...John Boehner needs to step down as Speaker. NOW!

You are right on. We have to be in this for the long haul. There are going to be lots of disappointments, and it is going to get a lot more shrill if we unseat a couple more rinos in 2014. We didn’t get into this mess overnight, and we are not going to get out of it as fast as most of us wish. Little victories (primaries) will turn into large victories at some point. Best thing that came out of this is a fantastic voice for conservatism with Cruz and Lee. And it is clear the Democrats are getting worried by the tenor they took during this fight.

Within the GOP, the Tea Party & the American People lost yesterday. There is one way we can turn the political defeat into a victory.

John Boehner needs to step down as Speaker AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Until this happens, the Tea Party / Conservatives are swimming in the pool of defeat. The first step of turning this defeat into a Tea Party victory is replacing John Boehner as Speaker ASAP. Until then, we wear the black eye.

The next step is focus on running conservative candidates against King and the RINOs in the Senate who attacked Ted Cruz and the desires of the American People.
