Please let me know if you would like on or off The Walking Dead ping list.
It’s addictive. And if the EBT cards get shut down for a few days or more we’ll be living it.
Can’t someone please eat Carl?
NY Post critics got a sneak preview and panned the opener. It will be interesting to see what real viewers think.
I get confused.... which ones are dead and which are alive?
!
At least, from that publicity still, it looks like Carl has given up on the hat...
I really like Carl. HE is growing up in chaos. He is the prototype for the postobama (if there will be a postobama)citizen in America. HE is a gun toting, don’t take any crap hard core kid.. The whole show is great with a lot of flaws. In a world where the zombie thing seems to be passed by open wounds the characters sure spend a lot of time wallowing in blood and other body fluids. I keep yelling “TAKE A BATH!”
Too “Soap Operish”” for me. They can draw a small sub plot out like nothing I’ve ever seen.
Strange to say it, but given the current state of American life, this series is most certainly non-fiction.
Well, you know that ain't gonna last....
Good to see the folks here again. We can't wait for tonight. I've missed the show.....
BTTT
Please add me to the ping list!
I liked the S4 premier, but it wasn’t without some flaws. For instance, why didn’t Rick ask Herschel to examine Violet the pig? He’s a vet after all. That seemed inconsistent, especially as tending livestock would necessitate making sure they were well cared for, and you would assume they would be concerned over sick livestock.
Did anyone else think the Irish woodswoman looked liked she might be more then just a dirty faced psycho? I was expecting her to be some kind of hybrid or cannibal. Do you think there may be something more to expect from that encounter, even though she’s dead? Why didn’t Rick shoot her in the head to keep her from becoming a walker?
And Ron is, I think, going to be a problem down the road. His (implied) drinking problem may cause an incident later on.
I’m freaked out to think that Daryl might be responsible for Patrick getting some kind of virus. Otherwise, him licking his fingers before shaking Patrick’s hand was just a massive red herring to the viewers (and it could be).
I’m excited about this season. I think it’s going to be full of twists.
Off topic.
(Well, not really)
But, I like how this started with Rick wearing the earbuds while working the crops.
Rick finds the buried 1911, and one earbud falls off.
The moans are instantly audible.
Max Brooks’s book, “The Zombie Survival Guide,” mentions that it’s important to have some kind of hearing protection. The moans of the zombies can drive humans into madness when heard over long periods of time.
That was a nice touch to start off the new season with.
