At some point, Belize was the reportedly the #1 destination for stolen U.S. vehicles. If you ever recovered your stolen vehicle down there, you probably wouldn't want it back. On a good day, the roads are jaw-shattering potholes connected by ruts.

Other than that, Belize is a lovely tourist destination.
