Sharks rookie scores four magical goals and might be a wizard

that was just plain strange (karma for the Rangers’ long goal on Jonathan Quick the night before, perhaps?), Hertl had another highlight-reel goal in the third period, beating Rangers goalie Martin Biron after putting the puck through his own legs. Hertl, playing his third NHL game, finished the night with four goals (and six in his last two), continuing the strong start this season by some of the league’s younger players.

LOL my sister wasn’t too happy about that game, her being a Rangers fan and all. Haven’t yet talked to my uncle about it, or asked what my grandfather thought about it, the two of them also being Rangers fans.

The one he scored with his stick between his legs was simply unreal.

I watched that over & over & over......unreal indeed! Not sure how you do that at game speed with a goalie in your face! Guess that’s why I play beer-league & he’s a pro :)

Is it fair for wizards to be playing muggle games? Shouldn’t they stick to that qidditch or whatever it’s called?

I don’t know why, but Adam Oates, coach of the Capitals, weighed in saying Hurtl was “disrepecting the league” with that last goal.

I don’t know why that clown even opened his mouth. Probably because he’s afraid his crappy team is going to get scorched soon as well!

I save my practice moves for when I’m going against Martin Brodeur.

I wonder if Oates would say the same about the spectacular goals scored by Ovechkin.

He did’nt play another shift with 7:44 remaining...coaches knew he was a giant target.

I don’t get that ‘he hasn’t paid his dues yet’ so he can’t score a great goal attitude.

Probably just the base of most evil-simple envy.

Yes it was. I watched it live, because i live in the belly of the beast (California) He looks good, but let's see what he does the rest of the season.

He is still on a high that he is playing in the show.

Like a rookie hitting a grand slam in the top of the ninth of a 7-2 ball game. Eventually you have to face them again and this time they won’t be so kind.

He won’t be getting any free rides through the slot anymore.

What a great kid! Too bad he’s a marked man for a while.

What a great goal, eh?

Fantastic goal, and Adam Oates should pipe down, esp. when Ovechkin has been known to be flashy.
