A high-profile case of a Belgian transsexual who chose to be killed by medical euthanasia after a sex-change operation turned him into a "monster" has highlighted the soaring number of people in the region electing to die this way – and has raised fresh questions over the controversial practice.
Nathan Verhelst, born Nancy, gave an interview to a local newspaper hours before his death this week citing his "unbearable psychological suffering" – rather than a terminal or degenerative physical illness – as his reason for dying voluntarily.

Too bad homosexuals are making it a criminal offense to attempt to counsel them out of such doctor assisted mutilation.
A mentally ill person encouraged and assisted to mutilate herself... then cannot live with the horror of what was actually done, and “helped” to commit suicide.
Utterly sickening. I will pray for this poor soul.
I hate it when that happens. You pay a for a simple sex-change operation and they screw it all up. You just can't get good health care these days.
This person was never a "him".
She was female at the instant of her conception, and was female the day she died.
Horribly-mutilated female, but female nonetheless.
So did my old one (original issue). But we've had counseling and now are best friends. Willy and I talk and we exercise together. All you have to do is reach out and find a friend right there. /S

That is it exactly. I wish this lady had known the love of Jesus. All of this could have been avoided if Jesus had been in the picture.

It really is. I actually felt bad for her. She wasn’t loved by her parents and was just struggling to find her place. I don’t agree with mutilating your body like this but she was suffering mentally. Poor thing.
