America the Beautiful,
or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.

Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine,
Choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain.

From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always pray.

We've kept God in our temples,
how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges
who throw reason out the door,

Too soft to place a killer
in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not angry,
that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?

How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?

If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face
and mend our evil way:

Then God will hear from Heaven
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within.

But, America the Beautiful,
if you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
withdraw His hand from Thee.

9 Years ago the evil ACLU was instrumental in having Judge Moore removed from his judgeship in Alabama. The reason that got the ACLU all upset about is that Judge Moore refused to remove the 10 Commandments from a position of dignity at the Court House he presided.

Well, in the last election the people of Alabama voted again to make Judge Roy Moore the Chief Justice of their state in the last election.

Roy Moore was not unaccustomed to controversy. A few years before the showdown with the granite Ten Commandments monument, he was a County Circuit Judge. He was directed to take down a hand carved plaque with the commandments by an Alabama Circuit judge. He refused to do it and became a hero. The governor of Alabama at that time, Fob James, made it clear that he stood solidly with Roy Moore and said with no uncertain terms, “Try to take the Ten Commandments out of this courtroom . . . and you’ll be staring down the barrel of a few dozen M-16s.” The case was later dismissed on technical grounds.

The poem above was written my Roy Moore, and it has been posted on FR about 4 times already, the last time was in 2008, 7 years ago. Considering the way things have gone in America since then, I think it is time it was posted again.

The lesson we can all learn from Moore, is that as long as we stand with God, God will stand by us.

Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:

Heavenly Father,

Search us, O God, and know our hearts today; try us and see if there be some wicked way in us; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent here by the people of this state and who have been ordained by You, to govern this great state of Kansas. Grant them your wisdom to rule and may their decisions direct us to the center of Your Will.
