Funny. Tried to find a short sleeved tee shirt for my grandson this weekend - all the stores are filled with down filled jackets and I’m sure we’ll see a few people in them when it gets below 60. According to the buyers for the stores, winter is on us, even though it’s still in the 90’s during the day. Wait until all those Yankees that moved down here realize they should have left their snow shovels and winter coats up north.

I get sadistic pleasure listening to the Yankees complain about the southeast Texas heat and humidity during the summer and half way through what they expect to be winter.
Me, too. Of course they are all more than welcome to return to the snow and ice if they choose. We go to Colorado snow skiing during Christmas school break. That is quite enough to last me for the entire year. The winter coat I brought down with me when I moved here in 1985 is still like new.
My God! The sky is on fire!
When is the government supposed to shut down?
I hope my vacation to Yosemite someday isn’t effected.

My folks had some friends that had moved to SE Texas from Ohio sometime back in the 1930’s.
They lived here more than 50-60 years and never got used to the heat in summer or the wet cold in winter.
I have no idea where you are, your profile page doesn’t even have a flag. It only symbolizes a location not that you have to pledge allegiance to it.
