From now on I will boycott Barilla. It’s a damned shame that a few percent of the population can bitch and the world changes to suit them. It’s time the majority stand up and be counted. Don’t buy Barilla pasta. Let him survive on gay customers only. Just like J.C. Penney.

When I first heard this story and Barilla’s ‘apology’, I thought of the financial problems Penney’s expedienced after it pandered to the less than 2% gay population. Barilla is a fool if he believes pandering to that scant few won’t cost him dearly. I have already read that many gays and gay supporters are not accepting his apology. Add those numbers to the numbers who will boycott because of his pandering and he loses big. His was not exactly a wise business move, but he must now live with it.
