Firefox - yes. I think that may have been the one -of all the other stuff I put in on that infamous day - that brought in the auto spell...
so I’m contmeplating installing it again to see...but so afraid all my current tool bar configurations, etc, will disappear again - and I dont’ have the guts to try fixing all that again in a hurry - mabye not in this lifetime - ahaha
I may give it a go, tho’ - If it flubs things up - instead of trying to ‘fix’ things, I’ll just go straight to a restore...
Success! I installed Firefox - but NOT thru the yahoo venue that yahoo had me do - I went directly/ONLY thru Firefox
got the spell check-as-you-type back - and did NOT loose all my other configurations, etc - most importantly, toolbar connection icons and such not wiped out and ability to save site icons on desktop still working..
