This is total BS. Foreign troops on American soil will be the easiest target in the world. Within 48 hours there will be so many dead ones that the rest will run crying home to Mamma. Note to UN foreign troops don’t come to the South. We know the Constitution and it would be an act of war that all citizens would react to.
I used to work with a guy who came up with these “warnings” all the time. Some that I remember were that the Cubans were training the Mexican army to invade the Southwest. McGovern made a pact with the Soviets that as soon as he won the election, he would turn over the entire nuclear defense control system to them. Of course, the Chinese troops massing on the Mexican border was short lived because we were close to the border and lots had relatives just over the line. Fort Knox being empty came up several times. The Watts riots produced several stories from him but I couldn’t quite figure what the blacks in LA would want with Superior.
All this long before the internet. He had several folks who always believed him too.
