Pakistanis aren't arab but they may be muslim.

There are Indonesia muslims, Thai muslims, and elsewhere. This foolish notion that muslims OWN the "holy land" and have some special claim on it (because of the conquests of Mohammed and his blood cult) is political correctness run amok. The notion that just because muslim supremacists dictate that if a land is ever under Sharia 'it is ALWAYS muslim "territory"' needs to be STAMPED OUT.

That said, the contestant shouldn't be ridiculed and harassed.

I don’t know why it would matter if an american of arab descent, or an american who practices the muslim faith, was able to win a beauty contest.
