It took me awhile to find anything about Quark.
Looks like it does execute x86 code.

Meh. I expect electronic devices that can run on your body’s electrical system pretty soon. And yeah, that means embedded stuff as well. I expect a form of “eyes in the back of your head” will not be that far off.
