Putin I see as a modern day Charles Martel defending Christianity.
That is the image he has created, but I am not so sure. Read “The Third Reich; Rise and Fall of the Nazis.” The parallels are terrifying.
Or maybe you’re right. But the same monsters do the same things again and again and again throughout history: they look like saviors before bring mass misery and death.
BTW Obama is definitely in that category. I am not picking Obama over Putin. In fact, I’d vote for Putin over Obama for President. No joke. But I am starting to be scared of who and Putin is, too.
PS Just research all of the people who have opposed Putin and then died, usually badly.
That's about the way I see it. The return of Russia to Christianity is real, there's no way anybody goes to the cost and trouble of building 200 Christian churches in and around Moscow or rebuilding that gigantic cathedral in Moscow for any sort of a show:
