A video apparently made by some of the Islamists fighting and killing each other and the population in Syria reveals quantities of Bibles and biblical materials, such as the Book of John, as a narrator describes them as being “more dangerous than chemical weapons.”
The video appeared yesterday, just as reports were coming out of Syria about how the Islamist rebels fighting President Bashar al-Assad’s army were “liberating” villages, and then forcing Christians there to convert to Islam or be beheaded.
The video shows stacks of Arabic language Bibles and other books, and a sign that is posted with the warning, “O nation of Muhammad, wake up. For there are things even more dangerous than chemical weapons. Beware the Christianization campaigns.”

Well, the Biblical prophecies that are shining thru this whole story are astounding. My 11 year old is freaking himself out drawing parallels to the stories in the Bible and what is unfolding.
The Word of God is more power than a double edged sword. And it never changes and is always the victor.
No wonder evil are afraid of it. It is true y’all, better get right with God, in your heart.
Yes, dangerous to Islam and all of the devil’s other hopes and schemes.
Bibles could manage to erode the fanatical compulsions that Islamists have in their version of a divine spirit, which seems to be a vicious and vindictive champion of all sorts of murder and mayhem, trampling on individual dignity and subjugating all the followers of a different version of divinity and “unbelievers” either to slavery, or death on the spot.
But worse, these fanatical ones could lose the tacit non-resistance of the vast numbers of those Muslims who do NOT have the burning intensity and zealotry of the militants, but who remain Muslim only because of fear of leaving the practice of that cult. Actually a wide collection of similar cults, each of which has a notion that all the other similar cults are wrong, and fall into a loosely defined category of “unbelievers”.
Could a Shi’ite Muslim convert to Sunni Muslim? Perhaps, but it would easier and less risky to convert to Christianity or even Judaism.

My friend who just died (in my arms, in a helicopter, over a volcano), used to smuggle Bibles into Turkmenistan under a burkha.
And yes, Bibles are FAR more powerful that WMD’s

Well, all this just happened in July, so I’m still a little shook up.
My girlfriend Lillian was quite a wonderful, adventurous person.
She was in Romania when Ceausescu was deposed, and she was one of the people who helped “clean up” the orphanages, finding homes for the children, etc.
She was a volunteer guide at Auschwitz for three years, educating people about the Holocaust.
She smuggled Bibles behind the Iron Curtain, as well into two Islamic Nations.
So, after two years of saving up, I invited her to Hawaii with me for a nice, much-needed vacation.
Little did I know that she had an aneurism lurking around her heart, just waiting for the right moment.
The Bible promises the obliteration for all eternity of anyone who rejects the free, but conditional, offer of eternal life made possible by Christ’s sacrifice. So, in that respect, it is more powerful than any weapon or explosive.
Wow. What a way to go! For someone whose heart was that great, to be called home in that way, while soaring over one of the earth’s most magnificent sights?

Yes. I am comforted that the Lord chose me to be with her when it happened. It is an honor.
And she was in the arms of someone who cared for her.
Well, when Jesus comes again, the islamists, among others, are ust gonna wish they had the option of being gassed.
