If you are going to go a-hunting for bear, at least show some respect to the one you harvested.

I think that was over the top, hoisting the decapitated bear’s head, as if the hunter were in the movie “Predator”.

Obviously, this character knew nothing about, or cared little, for just how much a knowledgeable hunter can render from a harvested bear.

Those experiencing this ‘outrage’ no doubt also had similar significant public outrage about Daniel Pearl , Nick Berg, and Lee Rigby

Down here in the US we have to regulate anything that moves or stands still. Most of our regulations are against something, but now and then we are forced to toss out a few for something. I understand that our regulator and chief pops out a few every morning before his coffee.

The head will probably be mounted and preserved .
It’ll be around a long time.
Longer than the bear in the wild.

He paid a lot of money to do this.(didn’t cost me anything)That money goes to their version of the Department of Natural Resources.
What he does with the meat is not my business.

This should be a bigger story:

Would that be a reference to the person in MN, or to me for taking the time to care about what the MN protestor protested about? Possibly both. I’ll confess if the MN person will. ;-)

Thanks. I didn’t know that. ...Sure. They put poles up and they had a bear dance. Didn’t you ever hear of Poler bear dances? Sheesh.

that hunk of bear will feed hundreds of critters, from bugs worms and other predators....who ever wrote this didn’t know anything about how nature cleans up the earth of the dead...rot is good to lots of different critters.
