I miss America when it was Decent and Good
Vanity | 9/4/2013 | Self

Posted on 09/04/2013 10:16:05 AM PDT by sr4402

I miss America when men were supposed to be decent and good. I miss America when pregnant women were Not sent to the front lines in combat. I miss America when it tried to live within it's means and on a budget. I miss America when religion was considered to be good rather than to be suppressed.

My children miss America, when school lunches were OK and they didn't consider it vomit and went hungry for lack of calories. They miss being told to consider things for themselves rather than being told by the government.

My children will miss when government promoted one man, one woman to make good citizens instead of using those who jumped over our fences. My children will miss being able to choose health insurance for themselves and their families instead to be forced into useless, expensive and limiting govenment healthcare.

Lord, I miss America.

You can add me. When I listen to Siriusly Sinatra radio I feel like it’s the 50s again and the music was sweet and the families were solid.

I miss an America where people knew how to use apostrophe’s.

Yes, I miss the music too. I used to be able to scan the dial and sing any number of songs on any number of stations. Now I can even find any music worth listening too, let alone to sing with.

Can't imaging singing to rap and letting that type of anger get in. It would damage my family and poison our souls.

Yes, I miss the music most of all.

I miss men wearing hats and tipping them to the ladies.
I miss women wearing dresses everywhere.
I miss children being respectful of their elders.
I miss music the made sense and spoke of love, both found and lost.
I miss cities that were safe.
I miss streets that were clean.
I miss buildings and overpasses that did not have graffiti scrawled all over them.
I miss language that was clean and not profane.
I miss people getting dressed up to go shopping downtown.
I miss America...........

I just plain miss my America. The one I grew up proud to be a part of. This man is taken our America to the drain and just laughs as it swirls down the drain. Makes me sick...

I just miss America.

This grotesque nightmare that has replaced it, this sick Homo-America... awash in corrupt, one-party statism and endless cultural depravity, is something that makes me want to vomit.

"Now I can even find any music worth listening too, let alone to sing with."

Actually there is all kinds of really good music out there BUT big media controls the mainstream music delivery system. Radio, TV, Movies, etc.

So those delivery systems only transmit what "Big Media" wants.

You've got to go searching for the good music but it isn't easy. "Big Media" is rigging the search engines on the internet as well.

Yes, America will not be Free next year. If you want to live off the land and be free you will still have to pay a Penalty/Tax for the privilege.

I like to make playlists on YouTube of commercials, and shows from the 70s-80s and fall asleep in a sane mood watching that on my TV rather than the 99% of crap that reminds me how pathetic today’s America is.

The America I remember fondly is when a good host, out of consideration for smokers, would have ashtrays on the coffee table for guests. Enjoying a cigarette back in the 40s and 50s wasn't a crime and was quite normal.

Now in this upside-down world, smoking is now considered an act of evil and tobacco companies are Lucifer personified. Yet, sodomite marriage is now the norm and those who oppose such depravity are vilified.

In terms of American culture, I miss the era when what was then known as "race music" was pleasing and easy on the ears. Artists such as Nat King Cole, The Ink Spots and The Platters were among those I recall fondly. I'm over 70 and can't stand the loud, obnoxious, offensive, abrasive noise that passes as "music" from Holder's people nowadays.

A vivid study in contrast depicting American culture I remember compared to what it's devolved to now.
