That the rebels would make such a strike to frame Assad makes sense to me. These are the same people who are okay with killing themselves and innocent people via suicide bombs, so if they thought that they could gain the use of US military power by killing their own, they’d go for it considering those killed as martyrs for their cause.
It’s my opinion that we have no business being involved in a Syrian conflict, especially if we can’t even be certain as to who made use of the chemical weapons. It’s the Syrian’s war—let them fight it out.
Rush just made the point, that whether the GOPe support Obama’s action in Syria or not, it’s a win win for Obama. Rush and Mark just reinforce for me every day that we are doomed.

I have been warning since the news of the Sarin gas attack first broke that the timing of the attack did not make it likely that Assad was the perpetrator.
First, we must realize that the ultimate goal of the Islamists and the Obama administration is to establish an Islamic Caliphate across the Middle East that they claim would end sectarian violence across the region, as the Brotherhood united all sects and depose all secular dictators.
Second, you have to realize that the Brotherhood had just embarrassed themselves in the eyes of the world by moving too quickly to establish Sharia law and reveal their ultimate goal. So, with the Brotherhood in decline and Assad winning the war in Syria, why would he gas a group of people who actually supported his governance. These were not jihadis who were gassed.
There is a very real possibility that the gas attack was a false flag effort to bring world condemnation of Assad.
Republicans should all vote, “Present” on Obama’s war powers resolution and force Democrats to own it.
When the Republican Congressional Committee calls to ask for money, tell them NO, because Boehner does not represent conservative views. Tell them that we want Republicans to vote, Present, on the war resolution.
