He’ll be picked up by the third game of the season.

After a couple of QBs go down with injuries.

If they don’t, they will sign him up.

The Jags would be foolish not to pick up Tebow. It’s not as if they’re going anywhere with what they have at QB.

I tend to agree. Tebow’s got plenty of heart, but his mechanics and his ability to read defenses just aren’t quite there as an NFL QB (IMHO, of course).

Now, I do think if his heart was in it, he would make a pretty decent TE. He’s already shown he can run okay with the ball, and he’s strong enough to do some blocking. I don’t know how good his hands are, but he might do okay in short pass situations.

Again, that’s if Tebow wants to play something other than QB. If not, I’m sure he’ll find a suitable pursuit after football.

Satan plays for Pittsburgh — something Browns fans have known for years.

“Still has as many playoff wins as Tony Romo.”

He just can’t play the game at the level required by the league. Sorry.

Yet he still has a winning record.

Good point! I can't believe there is not even one team in the NFL where Tebow can fit in and make a contribution.

If I were him, and assuming he’s financially OK himself, I’d go out and coach high-school and community college football teams in the midwest and south for free. Maybe spend one year at each, leave an uncountable number of indelible impressions on young lives where men with his system of values are appreciated.

By playing unconventionally.

I don’t think any team will sign a player up then cut them if they could play the position at the level required. He’s been signed to three different teams within a couple of years and he’s been cut by every one of them.

If his faith was the problem, they wouldn’t have signed him in the first place.

I think Belichick genuinely liked Tebow, and if for no other reason wanted to give Tebow a chance to make an impression for other teams to want to pick him up, even if he had no intention of keeping him on the Patriots.

Again? This is 4 or 5 times today he has been dropped by the Patriots.

Yup...just the publicity will be worth it...for whatever team

The Jaguars in Jacksonville are idiots not to pick him up...

Tebow would put 10,000 more fans in the stadium every week..

I think Belichick made the final call on Tebow’s career. The only option left now is a possible recall by NE if Brady or Mallet goes out. I hate to see him out of the game. He’s a great guy.

And he took the Broncos as far in the play offs as Payton Manning did.

Satan wins.

Actually Tim playing or not playing football is inconsequential in the big picture. Tim has already won. It would have been nice to see him on the field playing, but in the grand scheme of life, it is of minor importance. Life is very short and there are more important things.

“And he took the Broncos as far in the play offs as Payton Manning did.”

Hope these haters quit this nonsense about “luck” on how he did it for the Broncs. Ask any pro poker player and they’ll laugh at you & tell you “luck” is not what wins you games.
