I agree. The archaeological finds are extremely interesting, but the conclusions reached from the discoveries are quite a jump ... and almost all conclusions of this kind are, in the absence of text.

A lot of conclusions from archeological findings seem a leap to me. Thus, I’m skeptical here—as well as in how most contrary findings have been concluded.
