I was watching Huckabee a couple weeks ago. He had some blind guy who stated he was former Army. The discussion was that the Pentagon issued an order prohibiting the wearing of the uniform in church.
Has anyone heard about this? Has anyone have any information about this? I spoke with a Chaplain in the Pentagon and not only did he look at me like I just fell off the turnip truck, but he stated he never heard of such a thing.
Please - no posts about watching Fox, Huckabee, whatever. If you have nothing to confirm or deny on the subject, then just move on.
I’ve never heard of such a policy, and even if there was such a one it would seem awfully incongruous with having military chapels.
That said, there’s a case going on about an Air Force (IIRC) guy who’s basically losing his job for refusing to anser an incriminating question on his stance on homosexuality. So, who knows.
Go to the Arlington Chapel any day of the week, see uniforms?
