the purse in question cost $35,000, but somehow hardworking americans making 250,000 gross anually are the 1%. But if you have a talk show where you praise the muslim sympathizing communist you are a hero.
Was at the airport in Zurich, January 2012, passing through on my way back the U.S. from Africa. Browsed a few of the shops...unbelievable how expensive everything was. In one shop, there were beautiful handbags, one sitting out on the counter had a $5,000 price tag! I wouldn’t even touch it! Took a picture of it, though. Was nice to browse...to see first-hand what the 1%’ers get for their money!

How many poor could you feed with a $35,000 purse? and I’m sure she has several dozen of them, and probably several dozen pair of shoes worth 50k each.
Oprah is a race hustler. She has made her profits off the backs of the poor (her viewers, low educated), and attempts to be all “folksy” and “down to home”.
I have done work for Harpo studios in the past, and only UNION workers and minority owned companies were allowed in. Sad part is... me and most of the other contractors were NOT union. We were given buttons as we got on site by the union bosses, “just in case someone came asking”.
In other words, she’s a vocal ass about promoting labor unions and all that, but a total b*tch to her lapdogs, who she insists everything be done NOW and PERFECT and UNDER BUDGET! Which is why they always bring in non-union companies (but you have to wear union buttons).
I’ve never met her, I’ve seen her in person several times, never negotiated with her (always with one of her lap dogs), but I have NEVER heard anything good about her from anyone who has had contact with her on a regular basis (none of my employees ever really had any contact with her).
BTW, she was a product of affirmative action in the early 80’s like Geraldo. Networks were starting to get sued for discrimination because they didn’t have enough minority percentage on the payroll. Instead of hiring more minorities, they gave huge pay to the few minorities they had.
Before that time, she was a host on AM Chicago, a dreadful show. Then she switched to the Springer style format. Don’t think for an instant she was all “caring and lovely”, she was an instigator on her show, like that Downey guy. Nothing but an instigator who made her bones off the back of the poor. Once she got wealthy, she changed formats and re branded herself.
She’s re-branded herself as many times as her waist size has changed. I also love all the magazines that tauted her as the “strongest willed woman in the world” and “so courageous” because she lost so much weight... BS, she had herself stapled, has 2 full time executive chefs, and has lipo and cosmetic done more times than Joan Rivers. She’s as much of a fraud as The One.
