Then how come if an LEO orders me to assist him and I don't I can be charged and prosecuted?

The Warren opinion is an excellent round up and summary but it is not by the U.S. Supreme Court; it is by the Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia, which is the municipal court of D.C. It had a significant dissent.
