you’ve eliminated Walker, Wisconsin Ranger?

wonder how the Cruz speech went in New Hampshire. I am a dropout and .... why am I proud? Cuz I have no patriotic impulse for my state?

I love Maine and I love NH. But I hate the winters. And the black flies.

I’ve got Cruz and Walker. Walker seems to be interested in running, don’t know about Cruz. Walker brings up the rear in the meaningless super early polling, which angers me despite the polls meaninglessness at this point. Cruz needs to get in, the lesson from Obama 2008 is strike when the iron is hot.

I do not trust the Pauls or necessarily think Rand can cut the mustard on the campaign trail.

The “frontrunners” are atrocious

Fat boy Crissy NO

Jeb NO

Rubio NO

Perry NO

Ryan No

That Rand Paul and Santorum (I backed him in ‘12 and he’s decent enough but he ran a poor race and is probably a weak nominee) would probably have to be 3 and 4 on my list (out of candidates being mentioned) says a lot.

With our last 2 nominees being RINO Kingpin John McCain and RINO Kingpin Willard Romney it’s hard to be optimistic. Hell we haven’t even had the best choices run. Santorum in ‘12 won my support by process of elimination. I guess the best choice from 2008 was freeper favored Fred Thompson (not that’s half as perfect as was portrayed) and he did poorly, 2008 was between McCain, Romney and the Huckster. VOMIT.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing if the race were between Walker and Cruz and a few other of our best people instead of a bunch of a-holes like Cristine and Jeb?

Efraín Covert

It works if you say it with a French accent.

“..“Efraín Covert”..”

That’s STILL better than “Osvaldo”... Hahaha!!!

RE Cotton/Welles: Yeah, I love all of those old movies. They weren’t “action/adventure” like most of the flix are now, they were dramas that made you think.

The movies reflected the times and the people of those times. People from that generation were more cerebral than now. Sadly.

Give me the classics anyday! Hell, I watched the original “Thomas Crown Affair” the other day on PBS (yeah, I know), but Steve’s STILL the man - excellent flick!

Steve McQueen with a B.A.R slugging it out with ChiComs in 1926 China...”The Sand Pebbles”,

Steve McQueen on stolen German Motorcycle, jumping the barbed wire Border Fence ... “The Great Escape”

Steve McQueen with 1968 Mustang GT-390 Fastback.. “Bullitt”
(I had that exact same model ‘Stang when I was 20 years old - got it for 325.00. It was HAIR-RAISING fast and quite an experience to try and stop it at 120mph with drum brakes all around).

Steve McQueen (with Sinatra) hosing down Japanese Rikusentai (Special Naval Landing Force) in Burma with a Thompson - “Never So Few”

Dude... he DEFINED “cool” for entire generations.

McQueen...Gina...Sophia...don’t make ‘em like that anymore.

Although Jennifer Lawrence, IF she can avoid mutilating herself, COULD be a classic. COULD.

“...In 1947, McQueen joined the United States Marine Corps and was quickly promoted to private first class and assigned to an armored unit.[6] Initially, he reverted to his prior rebelliousness, and as a result was demoted to private seven times. He took an unauthorized absence by failing to return after a weekend pass had expired, staying with a girlfriend for two weeks until the shore patrol caught him. He resisted arrest and as a result spent 41 days in the brig.[6] After this, McQueen resolved to focus his energies on self-improvement and embraced the Marines’ discipline. He saved the lives of five other Marines during an Arctic exercise, pulling them from a tank before it broke through ice into the sea.[6][15] He was assigned to the honor guard, responsible for guarding then U.S. President Harry Truman’s yacht.[6] McQueen served until 1950 when he was honorably discharged. He later said he had enjoyed his time in the Marines.[16]...”

He wore the roles he played very easily. Guy was a real life hero...

1,000% the real deal - and a GOP to boot!

That’s why, after 33 years, he’s still THE MAN!

I still watch “The Sand Pebbles” whenever it comes on. Need to get it on DVD, actually.

He hammers the crap out of the commies with the BAR in the temple.

The scene where he slings up and has to shoot his apprentice - a very young actor named Mako - because the communists are torturing him, is wrenching.

Richard Crenna (Col. Sam Trautman - Rambo) is in it as well. Great flick.

Crenna was a good actor. Sand Pebbles was one of his best.

Love that movie.
