Can you give me elevator talk version? I’ve been following Thor Energy’s new thorium/plutonium fuel rod development, but news is scant and slow coming.
basic synopsis is that more players are entering the stage. Some are using solid thorium, others are in molten salt.
MSRs are appearing to be picking up more allies.

Two things mentioned here before is that the russians and the indians had active thorium programs in the 1960’s & 70’s—but they abandoned them when the US did.
Also the graphite design for the Chernobyl nuclear plant was stolen from the USA before graphite problems had been straightened out.
