Because it happened in America, the trial of George Zimmerman for shooting and killing Trayvon Martin was all about race ... the people who benefit politically from the same invidious forces that led both to Trayvon Martins killing, and the acquittal of his killer, will deny that race had anything to do with either the killing or the verdict. ...
Because this is America, pointing out that a black boy can be shot with impunity by a more or less white man because many white Americans are terrified by black boys and men is called playing the race card. The race card is what the people who benefit politically from the fact that many white Americans are terrified by black boys and men call any reference to the fact that race continues to play an overwhelmingly important, and overwhelmingly invidious, role in American culture in general ...
Trayvon Martin was stalked by George Zimmerman because he was black. Trayvon Martin is dead because he was black. George Zimmerman was acquitted of killing Trayvon Martin because the boy Zimmerman killed was black.
If you deny these things, you are either a liar or an idiot, or possibly both.
Nothing above requires the conclusion that the jurys verdict was wrong as a matter of law. Floridas laws, in their majestic equality, extend to people of all races the right to engage in vigilante killing that eliminates the sole witness to that killing. To point this out is neither a defense of those laws, nor a claim that they will in fact be applied equally. In other words, to blame this jury in this situation is to miss the point.

There really aren't words sufficient to express what a despicable, steaming pile of human refuse this guy is. And he has the sheer gall to a cause others of racism?
Yeah? Then what was the Carr brothers trial all about then? What’s that ya say.....you never heard of it? Two words: Google it.
It was all about race, in that the black panther types were trying to use it to lynch.
Looks to me like yet another liberal who underneath all the “progressive” posturing — is just a weakling who is secretly terrified by black people.
Whiskey
Tango
Fostrot
Talk about racist.
I think he should be recommended for the knock out game to the Amish of his area.
Which is exactly the type of people who forced this to go to trial to begin with in a cowardly attempt to appease a group who they fear, not because they actually thought some sort of justice needed to be served.
And then the ‘Law School Scam’ blog, where he took on the law school machine which takes billions of dollars from students, and churns out tens of thousands who have zero hope of passing the bar exam, nor ever being able to repay their high tuition, mostly due to poor teaching skills and awful grading practices.
Wouldn't characterize him as a ‘lib’ professor under those previous actions. Looks to me that this is one of those Bill Mahr moments.
Stalked? Isn't that a criminal offense?
He was MONITORED by a neighborhood watch volunteer.
Color wasn't the motive for observing him. Someone dazed on dope was meandering about the neighborhood. Did not appear to live there (he was staying with friends).
He was killed in self-defense as Trayvon had taken it upon himself to crack the nose and crack the skull of "a creepy ass cracker". Trayvon drew first blood and initiated the confrontation.
George Zimmerman was not aquitted because Trayvon was black. He was acquitted because the State failed to prove its allegation that this was a premeditated murder (or "child abuse").
The PROSECUTION of this case was politically driven by racist forces out to drive a wedge in America as well as those who seek to disarm the public.
Then again, University of Colorado seems to have it's share of taxpayer funded Communist professors, lying "Indians", and ass clowns.
The trial was all about race. If Zimmerman was black, or Trayvon was hispanic, there never would have been a trial.
If GZ was black, and Trayvon was white, The people arguing for GZ’s conviction would have all used the same evidence to argue that GZ had every right to defend himself, and if the black GZ was arrested, they’d have said that proved racism was still alive in this country.
Meanwhile, the black community and their liberal white enablers are working overtime to tell black youth that they still have a right to beat up white people they don’t like. And they will work hard to make sure white people can’t defend themselves.
Campos has a perfect right to be ignorant and stupid. That he is allowed a position of authority to teach the same to others is borderline criminal.
Dude does look like he has a lot of RABBIT GENES running through his body. Hey Paul. What do you call the DOCTORED AUDIO tape that NBC released falsely attempting to portray Zimmerman a racist.
Paul Campos is a “white Hispanic”. He probably used his Hispanic name to score an affirmative action admission into college and into law school.
Got news for ya professor. Anyone lays a single finger on me or my loved ones and I will put that brain on the concrete. Cool? Now pi$$ off!
The standards for professors appears to be rather low at the University of Colorado.
Had Trayvon been a white kid.... Yeah, I know, he would probably have gone home or avoided a conflict, but just for pretends.... If Trayvon had been a white kid pounding on GZ, he would still be shot. Had Trayvon been a white kid wearing a hoodie, casing people’s houses for his next jewelry heist, GZ would have followed him. GZ was being a good citizen. And that’s what has the race-baiters quaking in their loafers.
As a 1969 graduate of Colorado University, Campos is an embarrassment....without a cardboard sign, unemployable in any other industry.
Why would Americans have any fear of blacks? Gee. It’s just all such a mystery.
