This was a great video. I agree. It's time people wake up to what the bible talks about...the war between good and evil.

I was possessed when I was 17, I had an ear operation and woke up the next day a changed person, mean and cursing my favorite aunt and pacing around the house mumbling awful things. My sisters, who don't believe in demons, do remember that I woke up changed. And I never went back to my old self. I knew somewhere inside of me that I had lost something, but I had no idea what happened. After that day I was never able to say 'no' to the dark side, or at least most of the time. Things that i was against before the possession I did...sex out of wedlock, abortions, suicidal thoughts, drinking, drugs, doubts of my doubts, being secretive...mind you, I didn't know how to tell people what was wrong, it takes awhile for you to see the evil unfold in your life and understand what a subtle web it weaves around your soul.

I will say that what prompted my becoming possessed I understand now, was hating my parents. I was pretty spiritual before the operation and I wanted God to show me about my hearing and to heal me or not...but my mom's demon knew the buttons to push in me and tempted me to hate her and I gave in. I think most possessions occur when we are children and don't have the protection or the ability to resist temptation... its called 'being born in sin'. I had already faced that demon I believe and was pretty innocent when I was tempted as a teen.

Anyway, fabian is right, you become a slave to your thought self, that seems to be where the demons reside. More inportantly is the tendency for us to try to be God. We have such pride we can't admit we're wrong, we can't stop trying to save ourselves, save others in spite of the evidence to the contrary. I am now 68 and was just saved from that demon by an act of God. I had been doing the Be Still exercise on fhu.com for years also. I spent years and years suffering being possessed, but when I first heard Roy Masters voice on the radio I knew he had the spirit that I longed for my whole life. I did the Be Still exercise for many years because I trusted in my intuition, not what others said about Roy or whatever. I learned things along the way, about what hate does, judgement, (God said "It's mine", forgiveness. But it wasn't until I let go of trying to understand. trying to give up hate myself, trying to fix my kids, trying to fix myself that God freed me. It is blessedly nothing I did that saved me. That is one of the things I had to learn in the years I did the Be still prayer...I couldn't do anything. When it finally sunk in, God came to my rescue. And he will come to yours too.

I was 10 minutes away from dying, and guess what...I was in the hospital again, on life support and when I woke up this time, I was free of that dark thing that possessed and tormented me for so many years. Not only did He save me, but worked wonders in my family, my children who the demon in me tried to destroy over the years, and my sisters. I truly understand what it means- God will perform wonders that we can't even imagine if we just get outselves out of the way. Roy is going to have a seminar February 2nd near the L.A. IF you go you will probably see some exorcisms or catharsis's, or learn how to let them happen naturally. If you can see what is happening in the world today, keep an open mind and give the Be Still prayer a chance.
