and conservative
as political descriptors: conservative is pretty bad because keeping things the same
falls within the proper definition [further: many conservatives really don't want to return to founding principles, just look at their stance on the War on Drugs, which is utterly against founding principles]; the liberal
mentality, on the other hand, tends to refer to the most illiberal of philosophies [statism].)
