My niece told me about a phenomenon in college that she called “LUGs” (Lesbian Until Graduation)

The LUGs quickly found that being a lesbian carried a lot of advantages among professors who saw them as “brave” and tended to grade more easily. Housing was easier for them because no one wanted to risk being labeled homophobic or worse.

Pfft! If you need these lame advantages to graduate from college these days, you're an idiot from the start.

I see kids graduating these days with poor writing skills and poor math skills. When I was in school, I had multiple professors who included spelling and grammar while grading your work even though the classes were not English or writing courses. I also had a professor who gave quizzes where your grade was either one-hundred percent or zero. He required us to calculate ALL answers to six decimal points. One digit off and you received a zero.
