My grandfather served on an Essex-class carrier in WWII (Bunker Hill). I'll have to take a trip down to Charleston to see the Yorktown. Thanks for the post.

My dad served on the USS Essex during the Cuban missile Crisis. He also served on the Midway for two cruises on Yankee Station during the Vietnam War.
