I read or heard that the actual amount of “playing” time or action for 4 quarters of a football game is something like 6 mintues. I really dont understand how anyone finds it interesting.
You could probably say the same for Major League Baseball, in which most players come up to bat maybe 3 or 4 times in a game and aside from the pitcher and catcher, spend the majority of the time on the field picking their noses, waiting for a ball to come their way.
Both games however can be very interesting once you learn the intricacies of the sport, which elude the casual spectator.
