I’ve never tried golfing, and after watching the video, have no intention of ever doing so!
You’re lucky, it can be seductive and always expensive in both time and money. I used to play a lot but for the last 11 years I have mostly only golfed at free (for me) golf outings, usually twice a year. When you’re hitting them well there is no better place to be than on the golf course. (9 HCP at my peak)
I enjoy golf. That’s because I know I’m not any good and refuse to get mad when I hit a bad shot. With that attitude, it provides 4 hours of light exercise and a bit of recreation with a few friends.
