The commercial is a disgrace. The commercial deliberately misquotes the Declaration of Independence.
Mis-quoting the Declaration of Independence here is what the paid Sam Adams actor says: "...they are endowed with certain unalienable Rights..."
Here is what the Declaration of Independence actually says:
"...they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights..."
Watch the YouTube video.
Now the Declaration of Indepence must be deliberately misquoted so as not to offend? Just who would be offended?
Have we come to this in America, that acknowledging our Creator as written in our founding document causes offense?
I am ashamed of this country. I am ashamed that there seems to be a need to pander to the heathen and the ungodly in the public square and in complete disregard for how this country was established.
Why is the Sam Adams beer company deliberately omitting this?

I’m pretty sure the actual Sam Adams would beat these people with a stick and spit on these quivering, cowering wretches as they lay bleeding at his feet
from what I understand, he wasn’t an easy going, go-along to get-along kinda guy.
and I’m pretty sure he was a G-d fearing man

It is a beer commercial, that’s it.
If you don’t like it don’t buy the beer.

The anti-religionists are insane. Who do they believe bestowed those rights upon us, the government?
Endowed by their Creator - “Nature’s God”
These people are such egoists they can not fathom anything greater than themselves. Pathetic really. Laughable.

Not the best Sam Adams commercial. Pretty weak.
Link here. But in fairness, they only have 30 seconds to work with in these ads. All the more reason to focus on the product and not attempt to make a half-hearted attempt to tie your product to Independence Day or its liable to back-fire, as it did here.
The best promotion Sam Adams ever did for Independence Day was to make the price $17.76 for a case of beer. They should stick to stuff like that.

James Koch, the founder and CEO of Boston Beer which makes Sam Adams beer, is a big time Dem contributor.

Even if someone doesn’t believe in the Creator, they should always cite historic documents as written. If they don’t want to use the historic quote as is, then they shouldn’t use it at all.

For someone who told this to his fellow colonists:
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.", I'm sure Sam Adams would not be pleased with the worthless POS mongers that commandeered his name to sell their product.
Besides, would Sam really have quaffed a beer with an orange slice on it?
