Vanity: Arkansas Ping List

Posted on 06/28/2013 5:49:02 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Hey guys and gals,

I've just recently moved to Arkansas within the past 2 years from Oklahoma.

So, being from Oklahoma, I'm VERY used to having my voice heard when I call my Senator or Congressman.

I'm definitely not used to seeing a Senator or Congressman vote for something as awful as Obamacare or Immigration.

With the election coming up, Senator Mark Pryor is the most vulnerable Democrat candidate in the entire United States.

For all intents and purposes this guy has already lost his job BUT it never hurts to put a group of like minded people together to start working against him.

He hasn't officially lost until the election results come in. But I want to keep the pressure up on idiots like this.

If you'd like to be on an Arkansas ping list please let me know!

I’m an Okie, you are now an Arkie.

Why?

Why would Okie’s care about Arkies?

Very old joke, you’d have to look up to understand the context.

Still, Oklahoma sucks and that is why Texas doesn’t fall into the. Gulf of Mexico....

“totally ribbing you and yer lucky we ain’t playing slug bug”

Hope you appreciate the jokes...

Can’t help your premise. Expreshly if you live in Rogers Arkansawl.

LOL

***I’m an Okie, you are now an Arkie.

Why?**

As a former TEXAN told me, about thirty years ago, he moved to Oklahoma and found better schools for his kids, than East Texas schools.

As an Okie living a few farms from him said...He was trying to move to Arkansas (Benton County) because the schools there were much superior than the Oklahoma schools.

Both these people lived in the same school district.

Now, 60 years ago, it was just the opposite as Arkansas had some of the poorest schools around. That all changed with Sam Walton (Walmart) and SWEPCO’s power plant.

You will find out that Arkansas voters are extremely fickle.

Couldn’t deal with old people who just refused more than 15 miles under the speed limit?

We’ll get Pryor this time around. Bloomberg is making him an issue, but we have known for a long time that he is a liability (barely more palatable than Blanche Lincoln was). I’m just concerned that we don’t end up with a weak-kneed RINO to replace him, which is what we got in Boozman.

RE: Arkansas ping

Any comments on the ad against Rep. Cotton that is being run by Patriot Majority USA?

I have seen the ad several times via Cox Cable/FoxNews. It is difficult to determine whether such ads are via FoxNews or Cox.

The ad does not endorse anyone else. I looked at their webpage and did not see names of those running the website. The org is headquartered in Washington and the org has apparently been around since about 2006.

That ad is insane!

I looked up a review to figure out the BS meter on it.. and it’s WAY BS.

It claims he voted for taxpayer funded benefits for life for legislators.

I looked up reviews to figure out how they “got there”

Let me tell you.. it’s a real stretch. They claim because he voted against Obamacare, that, THAT was a vote for lawmakers to have taxpayer funded benefits for life.

Whhhhhat

I did some more searching about the Patriotic Majority USA organization. It appears to be run by liberal Democrats. Most of its pac funding supports liberal Democrat candidates and zero support of Republican candidates.
