“Where does one go when one doesn’t want to be an American anymore?”

Congress

That stunning answer is humorous, saddening, but frighteningly correct.

CW-II, I fear, is close. Sooner or later, lots of folks are going to “just say no”....followed by “make my day”.

I don't know about CW II, but when you steal everything the hard working taxpayers have and squander it for nothing... then you just reduced fully half of the citizenry to a mob with NOTHING at stake any longer.

It is a blueprint for wholesale poverty and social discord... we won't even talk about the gratuitous class warfare that this ‘President’ has encouraged.

I just read "What I saw at the Coup", written by FR's own Travis McGee. Excellent piece of short fiction, I recommend it.

In it, he presents what you suggest, precisely.

And FWIW, I don't think that there will be some overarching Conservative Plot to kick the current WH occupant out. When have Conservatives ever agreed on anything? They're like herding cats. Jeez, just post something on FR, you'll get 30 posters replying with 50 different opinions. :-)

Nope, I think that "What I saw at the Coup" is on to something. Revolution happening, but via people acting singly or in pairs, all independently.
