Figures CNN would omit mention of Charlton Heston's "Omega Man", but why leave out Vincent Price's "Last Man on Earth"?

RIP
Thanks for the stories, Mr. Matheson.
He also wrote The Shrinking Man (filmed as Incredible Shrinking Man and remade in the 80s as a comedy with Lily Tomlin) and last I heard he and his son were working on the script for another remake.
The closing monologue of “Incredible Shrinking Man” is just plain awesome:

"I'm Captain Kirk."
"I'MMMMMM CAPTAIN KIRK!!!!!"
Also the night stalker episodes.
"Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" -- one of his 16 Twilight Zone episodes
Oh Wow...this is SO wierd.
I just got the Omega man from Netflix and watched it (and all the special features) last night!
I really liked the movie, and the 70’s Cars were a hoot.
The 70’s FASHIONS? Eyew! LOL!
Charleton Heston was amazing, especially since much of the movie was soliloquy.
Which was made into the Will Smith movie I am Bored.
I typed Matheson in the search bar. These didn’t show up. So sue me.
I believe he wrote “Duel”, a gripping movie with almost no dialogue.
Spielberg’s best movie.
That was a great series. Darren McGavin played it just right.
Vintage Shatner.
Honnnnnnnnnk!
Ah, red vinyl rear bench seat, fold-up front seats on two-doors, with room for your date to sidle up, no seat belts. Memories.....
Red Vinyl is so totally groovy and awesome!
He also had some interesting “hardware” in that film!
But the “fros” have to go! LOL!
I believe he only wrote two episodes, but they f’ed up the series with the remake. Darren was perfect and believable as this reporter. Now with all the stuff they could write about and they turn to a cult that kidnapped his wife? what crap.
Saw part of the Will Smith one on TV, only the first few minutes. I believe Matheson’s book I Am Legend (which I did read years ago) was made into movies with diff titles (Omega Man, Charlton Heston; Last Man on Earth, Vincent Price?) before the Will Smith one went with the orig book title.
(Same thing with some other films; Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was made as Willy Wonka... (etc) with Gene Wilder, but went to orig title with the Johnny Depp version)
