I was stationed at Yokota AB in Japan for three years. Never married a Japanese woman, but did date my fair share. One of the things that really struck me was the lack of the feminist attitude. They took care of themselves, dressed well, and genuinely appreciative for the little things such as opening a door. Train stations in the evening could give a person whiplash from all the attractive women coming home in their business outfits.
Having traveled through a lot of Asia, I still prefer Japan to any of the other countries.
