You must not have a sensitive nose or be a very sound sleeper indeed! lol

Do you keep a separate kimchee fridge? We do since it didn't take long for me to discover that the odor of kimchee will permeate the whole fridge. The radish/oyster kimchee is amazingly potent.

This year we're raising some "깻잎" (perilla), hard-neck garlic for the scapes "마늘쫑," and (hopefully) some Korean hot peppers "고추." And if the darned deer stay away, maybe my wife will get to have some of the Asian pears "배" that are slowly growing on the tree in the back.

Definitely good folks with their own way of looking at things, that's for sure!
