Return it. Ford borrowed 5.9 billion from us in 2009.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/joannmuller/2011/09/19/ford-looks-hypocritical-in-new-anti-bailout-commercial/

Ford didn’t file bankruptcy or get bailed out by Uncle Sam, but didn’t it receive $5.9 billion in low-cost government loans in 2009 to overhaul its factories and bring out more fuel-efficient technology? What would have happened to Ford if Congress hadn’t authorized taxpayer money to fund that $25 billion Energy Department program during a moment of crisis for the industry?

Ford credit was sucking on the tit too..

The honest truth is you really can’t buy a truck from any manufacturer that didn’t take, beg, or borrow our money.

Which is why I will buy and drive what I like, no matter whether it's considered to be sacrilegious on this site to do so.

I'm pretty sure my parents brought me home in a Chevy from the maternity ward in 1953. I've driven GM vehicles all my life, and I ain't about to switch now.

All the major banks and creditors were strong armed to take those loans...so as to not make the ones going under that needed them look bad. Or did you forget that?

You never answered anybody about whether or not Ford paid the money back, so I assume they did.

By your standard, since all Ford employees with children got tax deductions, he should take the truck back?

From your link, "OK, Ford didn’t file bankruptcy or get bailed out by Uncle Sam, but didn’t it receive $5.9 billion in low-cost government loans in 2009 to overhaul its factories and bring out more fuel-efficient technology?"

Yes, and paid it back with interest, and without screwing over the bond holders.
