The CCC chapter at the university I work at changed their name to Agape a few years ago.

I’m a-ok with that change.

a·ga·pe 2 (ä-gäp, äg-p)
n.
1. Christianity Love as revealed in Jesus, seen as spiritual and selfless and a model for humanity.
2. Love that is spiritual, not sexual, in its nature.
3. Christianity In the early Christian Church, the love feast accompanied by Eucharistic celebration.
[Greek agap, love.]

47 ... I’m a-ok with that change. ...a·ga·pe 2 ...

No quarrel with the use of that word. I'm 58. I remember C3 from the early 1970s and all those signs proclaiming "Josh Is Coming." Even read his book, Evidence That Demands a Verdict. Someone always seems to have their finger in the wind checking for marketing currents.

Yes, I am aware that Muslims are espcially sensitive over the word "crusade." I had my run-ins with Muslims on campus during the 1979 Iranian Embassy Hostage Crisis. Now that I am an old curmudgeon, my sensitivity towards Muslims is exhausted. As the saying goes ... "All I need to know about Islam, I learned on 9-11."
