37 What is the name of the Father-daughter program? I have known men to enjoy that with daughters.

I have no experience with the youth programs in the YMCA, however, a quick search with dogpile.com (I refuse to use Google or Bing) yielded this ...

The Y-Adventure Princesses is for Fathers and Daughters ages 5-12. We offer fathers the chance to bond with their daughters on many levels to build a loving and trusting relationship that will last a lifetime. The Y-Adventure Princess program is a unique learning experience for both father and daughter.

Sounds like a good program to investigate. But I am seeing more and more of an international flavor to all youth organizations, i.e., a de-emphasis of American nationalism and patriotism. I have a distant cousin involved with 4-H. As someone earlier on this thread mentioned, that would be worth investigating.
