Request Denied for Proper Burial for Babies Gosnell Killed in Infanticides

The Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s office has denied a request from a leading pro-life Catholic priest who wanted to ensure the babies abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell killed in infanticides are given a proper burial.

In April, Father Frank Pavone, the director of Priests for Life, asked officials in the Kermit Gosnell murder trial case if he can have the bodies of the babies after the all of the court proceedings are finished. He wants a proper burial of the remains of 45 babies killed by the abortion practitioner and his abortion clinic staff.

“These are not just medical waste. These are human bodies — real human being were killed,” Pavone said. “There are two reasons here: One, to properly honor these children of course who have been dishonored by what Gosnell did. And secondly, to alert the public and to raise the consciousness that we are talking about real killings here.”

Pavone said the medical examiner said he would get back to him about the request.

That has now happened, according to Bryan Kemper of Priests for Life’s youth ministry Stand true.

“We just found out that the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s office denied Father Frank Pavone’s request to bury the bodies of the 45 babies that were found in Gosnell’s clinic when it was raided in 2010,” Kemper said.

The pro-life group is responding to the decision with a Twitter blast on Friday.

“On Friday, June 7th, demand a funeral for the Gosnell babies by spreading the word about this on Twitter and other social media with the hashtag #GosnellBabies,” Kemper said.

Since the courts just consider the corpses as garbage, what do they give a $hit how they’re buried?

This is not the country I knew anymore. The proper America would not let this stand.

They do not want them remembered or have a physical place people will go to remember.

So build a huge monument with empty graves that says on it “Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s office rendered this memorial empty. Never Forget.”

About 30 years ago, my wife miscarried after 4-1/2 months. A few hours later she had me ask the doctor to have the remains sent to a local funeral parlor. Two things happened then. First the doctor said the fetus had been disposed of with medical waste, and second, none of the funeral homes in the area would accept “medical waste” for services or burial. I got the fetus back by taking the doctor into a small room and threatening to beat the crap out of him. He gave the dead baby to me in a white plastic bag. We buried the remains on private land in a small service known only to us and one clergy, and we never saw the doctor again.

I am both furious and saddened at the same time. For once and I mean ONCE... these babies could have been treated with respect, love and dignity. Once in their little lives could they have been seen as “human”. Their passing could have been mourned by the parish and community. May their little souls rest in peace in the arms of Our Lord.

I am so sorry for your loss, BuffaloJack. I am also so proud of you! You didn’t back down and see your son or daughter as “medical waste”. You and the clergy person you found gave your child dignity and respect. God Bless you!

That's about the last thing in the world those administering this government want to happen; they're not even happy about considering the rest of us as "human".

It’s getting to be time for us to just tell certain judges to shove it up their smelly slimy liberal Obamas.

Really.

I think you are right, DW. If these babies are given a funeral (usually reserved for “humans”) then it pushes the idea that the babies were human. I am probably not stating my thoughts clearly but to be “discarded”, then they are still less than human. I was sent a youtube video some years back from a friend.. it was in an urban area and a priest/parish would give proper burials for babies found dead (in garbage cans) or left unclaimed in morgues. Little, tiny caskets that broke your heart BUT they were loved by the parish members who attended the services.

I need a “Certificate of Human Remains” even if I merely want to inter or transport my late husband’s ASHES.

So if these ashes (which I had to shlepp when I moved because I can’t afford to inter them properly) are considered HUMAN REMAINS, then of course Fr. Pavone is correct in wanting to give proper burial to these precious little ones.

Man oh man is our society TWISTED.

Some reporter should stick a microphone in the MEs face and ask him if Gosnell was convicted of murdering human beings or murdering medical waste.

if Gosnell was convicted of murdering human beings

Ya' mean, "if Gosnell was convicted of murdering newly born American citizens"

That's the hell of it . . . each and every baby murdered by this butcher was an American citizen. Are they not entitled to a decent burial?

Fricking hypocrites. I checked their website and they have three different grieving services for children: First Candle, Compassionate Friends and Glow in the Woods. So let me get this straight.. they offer counseling to parents and family members that had children die BUT they see babies that the parents/doctor killed as nothing. Grrrrr......
