True, but most schizos are not deliberately violent. This guy’s actions are premeditated. If he has any mental illness I’d say he’s a sociopath or maybe a psychopath.

There are 5 other conditions that are related to problems with the same or adjacent genes (this was covered fairly well just two years ago in an article in Science News ~ much of the problem involves a lengthy deletion, and sometimes a deletion combined with a reversal).

Although most schizophrenia victims aren't always violent, and some even manage years of 'recovery', the most violent folks almost always have some form and degree of schizophrenia ~ combine that with self-medication and you have the very image of a filthy, dirty, slovenly abortionist who's drunk most of the time, and has no problem at all murdering babies.

The behavior is certainly psychotic, but that's not the cause.
