Either way someone in advertising should have caught this. When I first saw it I thought it looked like a cartoon of Hitler. I could not even see it was a kettle till I saw a close up of the product.

I was talking to a 25 year old who didn’t know who JFK was and had never heard of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. He graduated in the top 5% of his HS class. So it’s entirely possible that the 25 year old in marketing had never heard of or seen Hitler.

While watching tv commercials we're usually tearing them apart with "wth were they thinking." All those dollars wasted on advertizing that turn customers away. The one that causes and immediate channel change, other than the big guy himself, is that woman selling a program to turn your bad teen into a good kid.
